The flat road with no ups and downs leads to a deep virgin forest of conifers such as white birch and spruce, mixed with birch and alder, and desolate gravel, and rhododendron flowers can be seen in summer. From the comfortable hiking course to Namezawa, which is currently closed to traffic, and the beautiful Mt. Looking up at the summit of Mt.Fuji up close and the Southern Alps spreading out below, we return from Oniwa to Okuniwa. Oniwa is a natural garden, where low and dwarf larch trees that endure the harsh nature grow naturally.
