I'm Yoshioki Sumita of "Toyama-ryu Bizenkai" which offers "Iaido trial cutting" and "Armor and helmet dressing experience" in Machida city, Tokyo. Our ancestors were samurai in Okayama Prefecture, which is famous for Japanese swords. Currently, I am an assistant Iai instructor at the Headquarters Dojo of the All Japan Toyama-ryu Iaido Federation, and I am also an assistant instructor for Yabusame (horseback archery, a Japanese Shinto ritual).
For the last 20 years, I have been visiting overseas branches in America, Europe, and Asia several times a year. In addition, I have been in charge of trial cutting experiences for more than 500 foreign tourists and experiences for foreign VIPs through embassies. In this experience, you will not only be able to actually try cutting, but you will also realize that concentration is important.
