Full of Komoro's history, seasonal highlights, and photo spots that look great on SNS! Enjoy 30 minutes of luxurious time. Recommended for those who are coming to Komoro for the first time or who want to ride a rickshaw!

Komoro Castle is the only “Ana Castle” in Japan that is lower than the town! In such a hole, there are many episodes hidden that you can not understand just by walking, such as the story of the most failed military commander in history and the secret story of the birth of that world-famous song that everyone knows! We will show you the "real figure" of such a mysterious Anagi♪

[What is Komoro Castle Kaikoen? ]

"Kaikoen" is a park where you can enjoy the atmosphere of each season with the "San-no-mon" remaining in the Komoro Castle ruins, stone walls with moss-covered stone masonry, and large zelkova trees that are said to be 500 years old. Komoro Castle was built by Hidehisa Sengoku, who became the lord of Komoro Castle when Hideyoshi Toyotomi unified Japan, and was established by Kansuke Yamamoto, a vassal of Takeda Shingen. ``Anagi'', which was built in a position lower than the castle town, is a rare castle in Japan and is also one of the ``100 Famous Castles of Japan''. The "Otemon Gate" built by Hidehisa Sengoku and the stone wall made of stone walls from Nozomi are still the same as they were 400 years ago.

In addition, Komoro Castle, which finished its role due to the abolition of feudal domains and establishment of prefectures in the Meiji era, was named "Kaikoen", enshrining "Kaiko Shrine" in the ruins of the main enclosure. The plaque on the current 'San no Mon' was written by Tokugawa Ietatsu, the 16th head of the Tokugawa family. It is a place associated with Meiji literary master Toson Shimazaki, Bokusui Wakayama, Kyoshi Takahama, and Anami Usuda, and many monuments to poems can be seen here.

During World War II, Asei Kobayashi and Rokusuke Ei were evacuated to Komoro, and thanks to this connection, I asked them to write and compose the song "Komoro My Memories." In addition, "Let's turn up and walk" is said to have been written by Mr. Ei Rokusuke from the sad memories of this Kaikoen during the wartime Komoro era.
