Guide profile
My name is Shigeo Hirano, and I run Tea Ceremony Teaching Experience Kissakoan in Nara City, Nara Prefecture. We offer a variety of experiences that even beginners can easily enjoy. Our tea ceremonies are characterized by their informal atmosphere, which can be enjoyed in a lively atmosphere or in a quiet atmosphere, depending on the customer. I will guide you through the etiquette of the tea ceremony.

The experience location is about 300m (direct distance) northwest of Heijo Palace Daigokuden, in the Saki Burial Mounds, at the northeast corner of Hibasu Hime no Mikotoryo Mausoleum, in a green area. Please come while strolling around the many keyhole-shaped burial mounds and historic shrines.
