I'm Maki Shimokawa of "Natural Farm Shimokawa", which offers a "lotus root digging experience" in Yamazoe Village, Nara Prefecture. Originally from Ehime Prefecture, she works as an office worker in Osaka, and has been farming in Yamazoe Village on the occasion of her marriage. More than 100 types of vegetables are grown throughout the year, and are currently sold at direct sales stores and restaurants, mainly in Nara Prefecture. The lotus roots we make are firm, chewy, and have a strong flavor and aroma, and have been well received. The lotus root digging experience is a rare experience in Japan, so please feel free to join us when you come to Nara Prefecture.

What is provide	More than 100 types of vegetables are grown at "Natural Farm Shimokawa" throughout the year, including Italian vegetables, Yamato Touki, and lotus root. Currently, it is sold at direct sales stores and restaurants in Nara Prefecture. From autumn to early spring, we offer "farm experience" throughout the year, such as "lotus root harvest experience", "summer vegetable harvest experience" in summer, and "flowing somen experience" where you can experience from cutting bamboo.
Access	① If you come by car, it will take about 20 minutes from Meihan National Highway "Hari IC" and "Yamazoe IC". ② If you come by train, it takes about 26 minutes by taxi from "Kasagi Station" on the JR Kansai Main Line. ③ If you come by train, get off at the 124 line "Ohashi bus stop" and walk for about 22 minutes.

最高の体験！

今回幼児も連れての参加でしたが、よく見る沼に入って掘る蓮根掘りではなく、鍬で掘って芋掘りのような感覚で掘れる蓮根堀りだったので子どもたちもすごく楽しめました⭐︎たくさん出てきて宝探しのようで大人もとっても楽しかったです！そしてその後のご飯が美味しくて、まさにテレビで見るような青空レストラン！！美味しい空気に美味しいご飯で蓮根苦手な子どももパクパク進んで食べていました(^^) 子どもがいるとトイレが大変ですが、トイレは農場の方のお家のトイレを貸して頂けるので、とても有り難かったです。農場の方のご厚意で大根やキウイも狩らせて頂きました⭐︎ 本当に優しい農場の方で最高な体験です！！是非また行きたいです！！ありがとうございました⭐︎
